Opportunities takes an active part within the Community, thus promoting the work of the Project, and the support it gives to the Parents - breaking both social and age barrier.

At Hale we have set-up various local projects inviting other village organisations to join us.

The Hale Networking Group
Hale Community Craft Afternoons
Knit and Natter Group
Friendship Group for Families of Children Living with Special Needs.

With time and the help of volunteers we wish to replicate some of the above activities in our other locations.

We are able to work with the Citizens Advice Bureaue who visit Hale on a Wednesday 11:30am - 1:30pm. This facility is also available at Loseley Fields Children's Centre on a Tuesday.

Hale Networking Group
The aim of this group is to encourage local organisations within the village to start communicating with each other, for the benefit of the village residents. Do you know clubs and activities take place in Hale? If you belong to an organisation why not join us? Contact us either on 01252 689261 or via our website.

Kids With......
A newly set up group in the area to support families and children who have additional learning needs. We meet regularly for coffee and a chat. In addition, we have activities for the children - for example a clay workshop - I think the parents may have enjoyed themsleves as much as the children.

This Project is funded by the Catalyst and was partly established as a result of the obvious need for support both by families within the Opportunities and the community.
